I caught this parrot in a palm on Golden Circle, near Cabrillo Park in Santa Ana/Tustin

Terribe focus though! I am still learning ot use my poor man's Barska/Canon digiscoping configuration. It's a reall bitch! Working with a new tripod now, hopefully this will make things a little easear. I'm going to get a clearer vid of these parrots, if it's the last thing I do!

Check out this Western Scrub Jay. I had the zoom set for smaller birds when this big ol' guy came whisping in... He only hung out for a couple seconds and went on his merry way. Now I wait and I wait, and Scrub Jay has shown up once, but didn't go up on the lookout point to perch, so I may have to take on some more aggressive tactics with this ellusively flamboyant beauty! We'll get him eating out of our hands if need be

Check out these pretty little birdies playing in the flowers! They try to be secretive and hide out here and there, but I caught a good 1:30 of usable video. I like the vibrant colors in this one!
